DISCIPLESHIP

Paul exhorted the believers in Philippi: “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves” (Philippians 2:3). Sacrifice is the way of the cross. We cannot call Jesus our example and our Lord if we do not follow His path. A Christian’s heart is to be filled with compassion and devotion toward brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as a desire to see others honored. How devoted are you to the well being of others? Do you blow wind into their sails or are you primarily seeking your own advancement? The devoted God calls us into devoted relationships.

Men of Fellowship is IN PURSUIT of every man to become involved in the discipleship process. We host an opportunity for discipleship groups to gather and participate in a six-week study called 33 The Series several times a year.

If you know someone you would like to encourage spiritually, or just need to be spiritually challenged yourself, we want to equip you through discipleship opportunities. Send your comments and questions to our Community Life Pastor Michael Sparks at msparks@fellowshipjackson.com.
