Students

Every student has a place here.

Church should be a place students love to be. The world will pull out all the stops to win the hearts of our next generation, but we want to prove to students that true satisfaction only comes through Christ. We strive to be a place where every student belongs. The best way to feel connected is to develop relationships centered in Christ and to grow in our relationships with him. Whether you are a follower of Christ looking to get plugged in or just curious about the life of faith, we have a place for you.

Throughout the year, we set aside time for special events (camps, mission trips, service projects, etc.) for students to connect with God and each other. We have weekly opportunities to develop compelling relationships and to cultivate irresistible influence through small group Bible study and midweek worship.

Small Groups

We meet weekly in small groups to study God’s word, to pray for one another, and to enjoy fellowship. Small groups meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30 in the Ministry Center. High school meets on the first floor. Middle school meets on the second floor.

Midweek

Our midweek gatherings are tailor-made with students in mind. These can include anything from live worship and practical teaching to fun games and engaging discussion. The Café is a great place to hang out before worship. We have dinner starting at 6:00 pm for $5-7 and game stations set up for students to connect. The service begins at 6:30 pm and we usually finish by 8:00 pm. High school meets on the first floor. Middle school meets on the second floor.

FSM SAFETY PROTOCOL
In an effort to maintain a safe, welcoming environment as we reopen, we’ve instituted the following guidelines:

All seating is spaced 18 in. apart (no tables).

Please wear masks in large groups (15+) and in common areas. Masks are optional in Small Groups.

Groups will have the option of meeting outdoors as weather permits.

No games involving physical contact.

Events

Throughout the year, we set aside time for special events like DNOW weekend, camps, mission trips, and service projects which develop relationships with each others and with God.

This summer, we have two unique experiences designed for our middle and high school students to develop meaningful relationships with God and with others.

Our students need to encounter Jesus outside their normal context to deepen their faith and broaden their perspectives. God always does amazing things at camp and we want your student to experience it!

JERUSALEM PROJECT

Jerusalem Project is an action packed day where students and leaders get the opportunity to worship and serve together in a fun welcoming environment.  We will be working with local ministries and charities to bless across our community, our Jerusalem. In the morning and evening we’ll have a chance to worship and open God’s word together. Our prayer for this weekend is that God will stir up a passion for serving “the least of these” in our own community. The weekend will begin at 8:00 AM on Saturday, April 24 and conclude that evening at 8:30 PM. The cost is $30. Click here to register.
