Church should be a place students love to be. The world will pull out all the stops to win the hearts of our next generation, but we want to prove to students that true satisfaction only comes through Christ. We strive to be a place where every student belongs. The best way to feel connected is to develop relationships centered in Christ and to grow in our relationships with him. Whether you are a follower of Christ looking to get plugged in or just curious about the life of faith, we have a place for you.
Throughout the year, we set aside time for special events (camps, mission trips, service projects, etc.) for students to connect with God and each other. We have weekly opportunities to develop compelling relationships and to cultivate irresistible influence through small group Bible study and midweek worship.
We meet weekly in small groups to study God’s word, to pray for one another, and to enjoy fellowship. Small groups meet on Sunday mornings at 10:30 in the Ministry Center. High school meets on the first floor. Middle school meets on the second floor.
Our midweek gatherings are tailor-made with students in mind. These can include anything from live worship and practical teaching to fun games and engaging discussion. The Café is a great place to hang out before worship. We have dinner starting at 6:00 pm for $5-7 and game stations set up for students to connect. The service begins at 6:45 pm and we usually finish by 8:00 pm. High school meets on the first floor. Middle school meets on the second floor.
Throughout the year, we set aside time for special events like DNOW weekend, camps, mission trips, and service projects which develop relationships with each others and with God.
FSM is heading to the Linden Valley Conference Center November 8-10 for our Fall Retreat! We want this fun-filled weekend to help students and leaders build intentional relationships with God and each other that will last through the school year and beyond. We will have some incredible experiences enjoying volleyball, basketball, hiking, ropes courses, and a host of other outdoor activities. We’ll also enjoy energetic worship and intentional time to grow closer with our small groups. Zac Reno of The Summit Church in Benton, Arkansas will be leading through the theme for the weekend, Undivided: Loving God Above All Else. Our prayer for this weekend is that God will boldly challenge our students to pursue Christ with single-minded devotion, discovering that the only love worth giving God is an undivided one. We hope every FSM student and leader can make it to our Fall Retreat! To sign up, click here.
